RUBRIC FOR READING OUTLOUD

EXAM Hi girls This is the rubric for the exam CATEGORY Excellent 5 Good 4 Fair 3 Poor 2 Nothing 1 Pronunciation, clarity Excellent Pronounces all words correctly and speaks clearly. Good Pronounces most of the words correctly and speaks clearly. (3-4 errors) Fair Speaks clearly; mispronounces some words. ( 5-7 errors ) Poor Difficult to understand, is struggling or mispronounces most words. (8-10errors) Really bad Difficult to understand, is struggling or mispronounces most words. (more than 10 erros) Fluidity Excellent Reads at an appropriate speed. No lapses, hesitation or wavering in the pace.  Punctuation pauses are present Good Reads at an appropriate speed. Few lapses, hesitation or wavering Punctuation pauses are present most of the time (2-4 errors) Fair Reads at an appropriate speed most of the time. Some lapses, hesitation or wavering....
